Not Coming Back

Not Coming Back collects eleven poems by Dale Favier and presents them together with photographs by Nina Tovish.

Dale’s poetry is direct, revelatory, and generous. He writes of love and other passions, the wounds of time, the ecstatic presence of nature. He tells aloud secrets of body, mind, and spirit in a modern idiom with strong roots in the great poetic traditions.

I’ve been reading Dale’s blog, Mole, for years and years. Although we’ve never met in person, I early on recognized him as one of my tribe: a seeker, a lover of words and beauty, a companion on the pilgrim’s path toward greater connection.

Please read his poems, they are wonderful.

I’ve wanted to put together a small publication with Dale’s words and my pictures for a long time. After my usual extended procrastination, I finally managed to get it done. I’m really quite happy with the result, and I think you’ll like it too.

You can buy either the high-quality print version—really, the color reproduction is terrific—for $5 (plus shipping) or a downloadable full-color PDF for $2. There’s a full preview available on the MagCloud page.

Please pass the word on, write a tweet, like this post on Facebook, whatever! I’d be so happy if more people go to know Dale’s work.
