Something Beautiful from Jean

I don’t know exactly how many years I’ve been following the writing and photography of Jean Ruaud, but it’s been quite a while. I can tell you that a link to his site, Mnemnoglyphs, has been sitting in my sidebar ever since the launch of this site.

Today’s guest-poster JR is a Parisian, always an interesting thinker, a brilliant photographer, an Americanophile, and one of a handful of longtime internet friends whom I value greatly and have never met in person. I am grateful to live in an era where such connections can be made and maintained.
