Asheville will have yet another new resident sometime in February. Bob is moving here from Las Vegas, for no better reason than he wants to be near me. I am very glad.
We spent the past week looking at apartments of all different sorts in a wide variety of locations. In the end, he chose a place in North Asheville off Charlotte Ave. I think he’s getting a good deal on a spacious place with a great location. We won’t be right near to each other, but honestly in this town nothing is very far away from anything else!
I hope he will be very happy here; I’ll do all I can to make it so.

After almost four years of being 2400 miles apart, except for occasional transcontinental visits, I think that reducing the gap to a mere FOUR miles does, in fact, count as being “right near to each other”!
