A Good Place To Be A Rabbit

Bunny in the garden at Biltmore Estate.

It took a stroll in the garden with my guy, sniffing the natural soothing aromatherapy of rose bushes in bloom, and emitting multiple pointings-and-announcings of “BUNNY!!” before I regained a degree of calm and relaxation this evening.

The rabbits at the Biltmore Estate have little fear of people, but they retain the morphology of the wild hare. They are lean and pert-eared, and not especially fluffy. They are undomesticated and utterly charming.

We made it back to the car as the sky began grumbling and darkening ominously, and just avoided getting soaked. I hope the bunnies managed to stay dry too.
