Let The Barriers Fall

I get a genuine jolt of joy when I learn that someone has broken through an unjust barrier—or when a whole category of folks get access that they should never have been denied in the first place.

I love it when, as the Quakers say, way opens.

I am also grateful when the the obstacle courses that I once set up for myself suddenly reveal themselves as the outgrown emotional playgrounds they truly are. I don’t have to crawl on my belly under the barbed wire. I can stand right on up and stroll around it.
